The PTMP has three unique pathways designed to meet the diverse needs of teachers across the province: Core Mentorship, First Nation Teacher Mentorship, and French-Speaking Teacher Mentorship. The pathways offer tailored supports designed to foster meaningful connections, professional growth, and culturally responsive mentorship While all coordinated through the same Provincial Office to encourage collaboration, each pathway responds to the distinct needs of the educators it serves. Mentorship programming within these pathways is currently being piloted in five partner school districts, with resources and tools being developed for educators across the province.

Core Teacher Mentorship
Supports teachers across B.C. with resources, events, and mentorship strategies that are research-informed and teacher-led.

First Nation Teacher Mentorship
Developed in alignment with the Declaration on the Rights of Indigenous Peoples Act Action Plan, this branch provides culturally responsive mentorship for First Nation teachers.
It is guided by a joint Working Group that includes the First Nations Education Steering Committee (FNESC) and the Indigenous Adult and Higher Learning Association (IAHLA).

French Speaking Teacher Mentorship
Tailored to support teachers in Francophone and French Immersion programs, this branch offers mentorship resources and services that reflect the linguistic and cultural realities of French-speaking teachers in B.C.
