The Provincial Teacher Mentorship Program (PTMP) is a pilot initiative designed to provide coordinated, research-informed support for teachers at every stage of their careers. Developed in partnership between UBC’s Faculty of Education and the BC Ministry of Education and Child Care, with input from K-12 sector partners, this pilot program aims at fostering professional growth and leadership among educators across British Columbia. At its heart, this initiative reflects a shared commitment from the K-12 education sector to foster a thriving, diverse, and resilient teacher workforce.

The Provincial Teacher Mentorship Program is designed to be responsive, relational, and rooted in shared learning. Whether you’re just starting out, transitioning roles, or deepening your practice, PTMP offers mentorship experiences that are personalized, practical, and community-driven.
