Balancing Provincial Coordination with Local Responsiveness

The Provincial Teacher Mentorship Program is a cornerstone of B.C.’s K-12 Workforce Plan. Rooted in both provincial coordination and local flexibility, this pilot program is designed to meet teachers where they are. Through accessible delivery, innovative design, and a focus on connection, the program supports meaningful mentorship experiences that reflect the diverse realities of B.C.’s teachers.

  • Build system-wide capacity through coordinated mentorship resources
  • Support tailored mentorship opportunities for First Nation teachers
  • Support tailored mentorship opportunities for French-speaking teachers
  • Strengthen local mentorship programs and structures through provincial collaboration
